How Does Invisalign Work?

We start by taking photographs, x-rays, and a series of impressions. These are used to study your case and plan the tooth movements that will make your teeth straight. Then the impressions are sent to the Invisalign laboratory where a sophisticated computer uses them to manufacture a series of special custom aligners. These are the clear plastic “braces” that will be used to help push your teeth into perfect alignment. We then deliver these aligners to you. As your teeth begin to correct, you will switch out your aligner to continue the process. Unlike traditional braces, you’ll remove your aligner for eating and cleaning. Once the process is complete you will have the smile you have always dreamed of.

Invisalign is being used to successfully correct a number of problems including overcrowding or widely spaced teeth and crossbite or underbite. Best of all, the problems are corrected almost effortlessly. Advantages and Disadvantages of Invisalign
